Thanx to all who have supported Equal Eyez Entertainment since January of 2002. Equal Eyez Entertainment handles large and small scale events in and around Austin and Corpus Christi, Tx. For you first time visitors, we are based in South Texas and began as a entertainment company who specialized in different needs for bands and other musical acts around the Texas region. Since then we have grown and at one time owned a recording studio, a music venue, and hosted the music portion for Velocity Games. We are now event planners for the most part, but can still work to meet your needs and work with you on special projects such as promotions. WHY choose US
We have one goal, to support local and live music. We are a team of dedicated musicians who have worked in all parts of the music industry and have put on everything from backyard shows to huge festivals. We have done exclusive booking for over 12 venues, owned our own venue, as well as a recording studio. We now focus on marketing, promotions, booking, and productions.
Equal Eyez Entertainment (EE) was started by Dominic Mondragon (CEO) in January 2002 after managing bands for several years. Seeing the need and request for booking help of more bands, Dominic and Hector Juarez (Freestate) decided to help book deserving bands that had little experience. Over the first 6 months, EE gained a staff of about 10, mostly from people in local bands that wanted to help build and promote the local scene. With former business partner Jesse Leyba, EE was able to open a recording studio and booking office in July of 2002. After a year, EE had booked and promoted over 125 bands, and had recorded 25 bands, and a dozen rap acts. With its diverse staff , our goal is to unite all music and the local music scene. In July of 2003 we took EE to the next level by opening a venue for musicians, by musicians. We owned the venue for 3 years, booked shows daily, had 2700 bands play during that time, and put out two compilation cd's of local area bands we recorded. We have done much more since.

Dominic Mondragon lives in Austin where he supports the local arts and works for the Govt in his spare time. Still running the day to day operations of Equal Eyez since Jan 2001
=i'z was an idea and name used by Hector Juarez and Rene Hernandez for shows and recordings they helped with. In Jan 2002, Dominic Mondragon joined forces to start up Equal Eyez Entertainment.
Rene Hernandez helped start equal eyez by recording out of his own house before we owned a recording studio. Since its closing, rene has gone back to basics recording bands at home in his spare time when not singing for his band, The Labeling Theory.
Hector Juarez was born to rock. Currently the lead singer for the rock band, The Periwinkle Massacre, Hector is in charge of Brand Control and Corpus Activities.

We have a very dedicated promotions staff that can get the job done right. Depending on your needs, we are here to help out in any way possible. We work hand-hand-hand with the marketing team, so that you will get as much publicity as needed. We have a street team assembled, that has the ability to post up and pass stuff out. From high schools and local colleges, to head shops and area music stores, we know the spots that will get the most attention. We also know how to do massive promotions on the internet. We can get you listed on sites that many unsigned bands have trouble getting on such as Pollstar. We can set up a mailing list for you, and bulk mail to your fans. We know the local entertainment writers of the papers, and can help get printed in other media sources. We can help get a ad set up in the Weekend section of the Caller Times, and have info published on the radio. Our marketing department can take care of any printing needs or anything you want us to pass out, design, or sell. Bottom line, we can help you with our 'word of mouth' campaign, better than anyone else in the area. One example of a major Campaign we are currently handling is Old Concrete Street Amphitheatre (www.concretestreet.net). We are there grass roots promotion team for all Concrete Shows. We handle tasks such as designing flyers, passing them out, and organizing there Street Team. Saliva, Robert Earl Keen, and Def Leppard are just some of the examples of the bands they have asked us to help promote
Our booking staff is dedicated to helping different musical acts or events around the Corpus area. We have several years of booking experience and have booked talent that has including different genres from Rock and metal, to DJs and rap. We take the hassle of getting in touch with a venue and club, and making sure that you are on the billing. We ask that you provide a promo pack to send to the venue or club that we are trying to get you booked at. We can send the promo pack off, and our promotions staff can also take care of making one for your self or band. What ever your booking need is, we can try to help as much as possible. We also can supply other bands to fit your need or help you fill in some slots for a show you might have.
